A single implant including the crown starts from £2,500, and a full arch on four to six implants from £9,999. Bone grafting or sinus surgery, if needed, is quoted separately after your CT scan.

Implants cost more up front than a bridge or denture, but they don't require neighbouring teeth to be cut down and, maintained well, they routinely last decades.

Placement is done under local anaesthetic, with sedation available. Most patients say it was easier than the extraction that preceded it, and take simple painkillers for a day or two.

Implants fuse with bone over three to four months. Long-term success is high — above 95% at ten years in healthy, non-smoking patients who attend maintenance visits.
